I don't know if this page is the best place for this question, but it seemed slightly logical, so...

I'm one of those people that used to print out every itinerary item in a little booklet so that I'd have it all in one place (flight info, hotel, stroller, & ADR confirmation #s, general plan for each day, etc.). The last time we traveled, I used Trip-It, which was awesome for putting in all that info, and I had it on my phone.

Unfortunately, with MDE, you cannot export any of the confirmation #s easily I can re-type all the info into Trip-It, but it's a pain), and you can only import flight/non-disney stuff (i.e., stroller rentals) info as a very short note (so you cannot add the timing).

Does anyone have anything that's better??

I use Google Calendar, Apps, and a printout. That way if my phone dies I have a hard copy. (Each day on individual cards, with confirmation #s phone and best transportation

I'm a hard copy kind of person so, I printed out all of my dinning confirmations, resort info, maps, etc and put them in a presentation book thing.(Sorry not sure what they're called, but it has clear sleeves for about 20 pages or so.) They are much thinner than a tradition 3 ring binder. And i also will have a photo of all the info on my phone. I don't like using apps. For reservations you can take a screen shot or take a photo of your MDE stuff, in case wifi or internet connection is spotty. And in your case, can't export the information.

I write everything down on notecards, laminate it, hole punch it, and attach it to a keyring. Then the keyring usually goes on my dad's belt loop.

I'm using evernote for all my info right now, will have screenshots in an album on my phone + printed copies of everything "just in case". I plan to take it to the park, one day at a time

I don't' have a smart phone or iPad; I do it the old fashioned way (pretty much!). I have a journal (with Harry Potter on the cover…) in which I write down information as I make reservations. It's kinda cool to look back and remember different trips, see how prices have changed, etc.! Anyhow, I have the journal. Then I have all confirmations sent to my email address. I print these out, then save them in my "trip" file. Print outs go in a file folder labeled with the trip dates and I keep that in my desk (and take to Disney) so I have hard copy of all info: Ticket #s, hotel reservation, air resises, etc. Before going to Disney I will write my ADRs on individual index cards (location, date, time, conf.#) which will go in my park backpack.

I basically rely on my handwritten information, but everything is stashed in my email so if I run into a problem and can access a computer, I can get a copy of the "real deal" even if I already have hard copy.

:cheer2:I have a Passporter's Walt Disney World guide book.
In the back is the spaces to fill in all your trip information. I love love it. Used one the last time I went to Disney in 07

Is your trip it connected to your email? Mine took all of the info, including ADR's, from my email and it's all in there.

I print out everything and put it in a manila folder. I take things out when I need them, fold them up, stick them in my bag in case I need proof :cool1:

This is exactly what we do. Love Evernote!

I take pictures on my phone of all the spreadsheets I have saved on my laptop. Plus I keep hard copies with me at all times in case anything happens to my phone.

I make a spreadsheet of everything and print that out--keep it in a pocket of the small cross-body bag I wear in the parks. I also type everything into the Cozi app we use for our family schedule--DH, my dad and DH's parents all have access to my calendar with their Cozi app on their devices and online.

I usually keep everything in my phone, between emails that have confirmations numbers & the MDE app I'm usually set.

I will at the beginning of each day screen shot the fast passes/adr's that we have so that I don't have to wait for the app to open & load if we're trying to remember what time something is.

Pre trip planning stuff is all written out in a notebook for me!

I have a nice leather notebook that zips shut in which I keep UT tickets, MBs, confirmation printouts, essentially everything 'physical'. In addition I've got a Dropbox account where I can access all my documents on my 'Droid wherever I have cell service.

I have a binder where I print out all my information (flight, rental car, driving maps, resort/park maps, hotel, FP+, ADRs, touring plans etc...). It also has diary pages where I note what we did each day. The binder stays in the room and all I do each morning is pull out the touring plan along with the ADR/FP summary sheet and any driving map that I may need and put it in a clear plastic protective sleeve and take it with me, normally just in the bottom of the stroller.

This will be our first trip with MDE, so I may end up using the app most of the time, but will have the paper as back up. I kinda like having the binder after the trip as a future reference to that vacation.

I created a series of calendars (used to be in Google, now in iCalendar) and keep all of the info there. Color-coded, because I'm that kind of geek (ADRs and other reservations are one calendar, FP+ another calendar, etc.)! Convenient because I then share the calendars with everyone in our travel party.

To address any potential paranoia about EVERYTHING crashing somehow, I have a printed copy of hotel, ADR's, etc. from Disney's site in my suitcase.

It is - but for some reason it's not pulling in the stuff properly. Maybe I should just start over again. I did like TripIt... (I also printed it out.)

Any other travel apps?

So many great ideas! I do not trust my vacation to technology, so I am in the hard copy camp. Everything goes into a slim file folder in date order, and I just place the 'info for the day 'into my crossbody bag.

i use tripit, keep a spiral bound notebook of all my notes, receipts, and plans, and eventually make note cards for each day with itinerary and confirmation numbers. the notebook stays in the hotel with the note cards i'm not using. all i have to carry is my phone and a note card backup incase my phone gets lost or dies.
