Where to watch wishes?

Last year when we went to MK the week before Christmas we stayed for the castle lighting and Spectromagic but my kids were falling asleep so we missed Wishes. I really want to see that this year during our Dec. trip and was wondering where would be a good spot to watch it from. Main Street was so crowded last year and my DS7 has Aspergers and there were just too many people too close together for his comfort. Any suggestions would be helpful~ Thanks!:santa:

We watched the fireworks from the Rose Garden which is to the left from the Tomorrowland bridge. Good luck!

do not stand rite in front of the castle. while you will get a great shot of tink on the zipline, the fireworks mostly go off behind and slighjtly above the castle, so you'll miss most. sadly we had no choice as spectro ended and they began.

Our favourite spot is along the walkway from Main Street to the Tomorrowland bridge - not the main walkway, this one is a little-known path that runs through the garden along the water - it's right behind the popcorn cart before the main hub on the right as you are heading towards the castle, and comes out on the Tomorrowland bridge. We can lean against the rails or sit and lean against them and Tink flies almost over our heads (The Noodle Station is behind this spot across the water). The fireworks go off to the side of the castle right in front of us, and the castle views are wonderful, just make sure you're clear of the small trees in between. Try it, you'll like it - people walk by occasionally, but not when Wishes is happening as it's very dark, and you can relax there and wait until some of the crowds clear out afterwards. Should be the perfect out of the way place for your son! :goodvibes

We cheated and took a Wishes Cruise. It was the best place to watch them from, THE WATER!

What about the new Wishes Dessert event @ Noodle Station? Crowds would be minimized and you would have a great view. There's a review on wdwinfo.com.

On our trip last year, we watched both Spectromagic and Wishes from the train platform in front. BEAUTIFUL but a bit crowded.

if all else fails, catch it from the TTC... the view is relatively unobstructed and they pipe the music in, so you can actually hear it. It was by far the best view we had last year. Oh, and there are no crowds there.

Well I used to stand on the train station platform on Main Street. Really good view of the fireworks, but I had no idea that Tinker Bell was on the zip line. You can't see her from the train station. I discovered that a couple years ago when we watched in front of the castle. I was so excited about it :rotfl: I stood on the walkway between Main Street and Tomorrowland last year. It was okay, but I wasn't crazy about it :confused3

We like to stand on the tomorrowland bridge. The one that connect the hub before Main Street and Tomorrowland. Tinkerbell flies right over you and most people just keep walking to get in front of the Castle.
