DH wants to try something new on our upcoming May trip and watch wishes from Fantasyland. Where's the best place to watch from back there? We're looking forward to having a new view and a less crowded area. After 30 some-odd trips and being crowded in the hub it's time to expand our Horizons!

We watched from in the area in front of Pinocchio Village Haus last trip and my DS4 loved it. The fireworks are coming both in front and behind you and he couldn't decide which way to look.

That's the Castle Wall area.

The "new" wall area that leads to NFL?

Yup. It's seen to the upper right of the carousel on the image below.
(Pinocchio Village Haus is to the upper left of the carousel.)

Yes. Make sure you move closer to 7DMT, further from Enchanted Tales with Belle, so your view of the fireworks behind you aren't blocked by the trees near there.

It is the most spectacular place to watch them. If it wasn't for missing Celebrate the Magic I'd never watch from the front

We sat just behind teacups, across from SDMT. While it wasn't perfect, it was awesome. There were fireworks going off both in front of us and behind us..and there was no one around!!!! We loved it!!

So from this area it would not be a good spot if you want to see the Castle projections show then?

I am thinking about watching Wishes from Fantasyland. I really like the "from Dumbo" suggestion. How early before Wishes should we get situated if we are watching from the ground?

Agree with NFL but my favorite memory from my last trip was watching wishes with my DD from Dumbo.

5-10 minutes before is more than enough time.
The areas can be virtually deserted.

Can you still hear any music or sounds over the speakers while viewing in other areas of the park (ie Fantasyland, Frontierland)?
