:wave2: Hi everyone,
Can I stay on property to watch or do we need to go over to MK? Hopefully we can see them from our balcony :wizard:
Thanks :sunny:

You probably won't be able to see much from your balcony - the trees are mighty tall!

You can see more from the dock, or the beach, or from the ferry.

In the North Wing, 5th or 6th floor, Woods view rooms, some of the balconies have a slightly obstructed view of the Wishes fireworks - and there may also be a window in the hall with a view too.

We were in 6034 in November 2003 and had a pretty good view.

You may be able to see the higher fireworks over some of the trees, but I don't think it is a very good view. I would go to the Poly at least if you don't want to see them in the park. However, they truly are the best in the MK where you can hear the musical soundtrack. Without that, they are just regular fireworks.

It's not worth the effort....at most you will the very top of the big fireworks, from any location you try. It's just too far away.

You really wont be able to see them much but I just wanted to say that we had a deluxe courtyard view room facing the magic kingdom and we could see all the fireworks except for the castle. This room was facing the Mk looking out across the pool. We could also see the elcetrical water pageant from our window. It was great but most rooms do not have that view.

ETA: we were in room 6141

Different opinion:

We stayed at WL in July of this year and  it. We had a woods view on the 6th floor that was over the WCC. We were able to watch the monorail (through the trees) and CR was also gorgeous at night (through the trees).

For the fireworks, we sat on our balcony many nights and enjoyed the high ones. Of course you won't see the castle or the low fireworks, but the high ones are pretty amazing when you are sitting on your own private balcony.

I would make at least one trip to MK to view Wishes if you haven't seen them before. The music, atmosphere, and the castle are a an absoulte CANNOT MISS!!!!

Hope you have a wondeful trip. Pat Humphrey on the nose for us!!!!!

Definitely watch it at the park, to me watching Wishes anywhere except the Magic Kingdom is like watching Illuminations and Fantasmic outside the parks, you do not get any where near the total effect. About all you do see outside the park is the upper fireworks and there is so much more to the show.

So go to the park :flower:
