Where to watch Spectro & Wishes?

We will be visiting AK on Saturday, May 22, which also happens to be the only day that Spectro will be done while we are there. We plan to leave AK and go eat outside park with nearby relatives then go to MK for festivities. There will be DH & I our DD2, and Friend & her DH and their DS 18 months. Is there anywhere that we can stake out a spot and sit down to wait. Maybe with a blanket? We plan to send guys to get food or whatever. But I don't know where we should get. HELP!

Ok... Spectromagic will be busy in the Hub, but
you may be able to grab a spot there. Depending on timing (I haven't looked at the
MK times for late may yet) you may want to
see Spectro in Frontierland or Liberty Square
and then head towards Main Street/Hub for
Wishes.
Over a number of nights between December
and April, we've found that our favorite space
for Wishes is on the walkway between
Main Street and the Hub, about halfway between
the paths leading to Tomorrowland on the East
and the Crystal Palace/Caseys Hot Dogs on
the West and the Hub itself.
You actually are on a small bridge,
almost unnoticable, that goes over the moat/
waterway that runs all around the Hub.
You are about 15-20 feet back from the
Popcorn wagon on the right (east) side of
the walkway as you look at the Castle. You will
HAVE to stand, and maybe in the street, but
the views are very very good. You get all
the stuff projected onto the Castle and all
the fireworks that are launched from
the Fantasyland buildings... You need to be
at least 1/2 way up Main Street before the
lights are off for the fireworks.

My favorite spot for Spectromagic is in Frontierland right outside the Shooting Gallery. There are some chairs there as well as more space to spread out on a blanket. Because it is the end of the parade, I have never found it to be as crowded as other spots.
