Where to watch Illuminations?

OK. Is this a show that we need to see on a certain side of EPCOT? Do we need to be in Future world or can we see it from the World Showcase? Trying to figure out what part of the park we need to be in at what time. Thanks in advance!

We have viewed it from, Italy, Cantina de San Angel, and directly across the lake from America. All were excellent viewing locations.

I have watched it in the little area by the bridge connecting UK and France and between Canada and Mexico and it was alright. BUT the best was in December while I was there on my honeymoon and we decided to drink all around the world and were going to skip Illuminations since we saw it before and head to Italy and it has to be the best there. It was beautiful!

They have that...I don't even know what you would call it...thing you can sit on...it's pretty big. Does anyone what I'm talking about and can clarify? TIA!

We happened to stop to watch Illuminations last month just between the US and Italy... wow, it was the best spot we've watched them from yet!

Can anyone mention places not to stand? Like because of trees and those little masses of land in the lake?

You need to be in World Showcase. I've seen it from about 8 locations, and all were good. Last year we came out of the Biergarten and there was a spot to stand at the wall. It was terrific.

THANKS FOR THE INPUT! I thought you had to be in Future World to get the best view but we are most likely going to be in the World Showcase. So ya'll got me feeling good!!

We always stand in that kinda of landing area between USA and Italy.If you get there early enough, usually about an hour and a half before the show, there are benches you can sit on and the view is great.
