Where to watch Happily Fireworks

I am not doing any dessert parties for the Happily fireworks. Where are the best viewing locations?

Thanks!

The answer (for me) would be The Hub around the Partners statue, or past them towards Main Street. That's the only Optimal place to view. If you get too close to the castle you will lose on the fireworks, if you get too far you lose on the projections.

Definitely agree-for HEA,unlike IllumiNations for example, viewing location is CRITICAL!:)

have always been able to find a spot on the artificial grass in front of Casey's at about 30 minutes prior.

Really?? That close to the show, and there was still room in there?!? I'm shocked, especially after reading about people "camping out" for an hour or more.

That's mostly for the center hub, which is the best view possible.

Yes, lotsa folks post crazy experiences but we visit every Christmas/New Years season and have never "camped out" for Wishes or HEA. Maybe for a huge group that wants to sit together but we are a family of 4.

My answer depends on if you've seen the projections or if you haven't.
If you haven't seen them, then yes, any of the areas in front of the castle shown on Robo's map.
If you have seen them, then I don't bother going there, I watch from the gates to New Fantasy Land. That's where the fireworks themselves are best

Scare tactics. We never camp out for anything and find spots to watch easily. People shift/adjust/move constantly. Camping out is never needed. I don't know why this rumor persists like it does
Besides. Many, many people think that area is not open to the public. PP is correct, it's very easy to find a spot to view the show there without staking spots early.

I like this advice. My favorite spot is around the ice cream parlor on Main Street, or thereabouts for a nice balance of projections and fireworks. Really haven't found any need to camp out at all to get a spot there, as there's usually space right up until the show starts.

Try to grab a spot behind a short Amish couple with teenagers. This way, they will not lift an ipad to obstruct your view (in an effort to record a show with dozens of recordings already on YouTube) and nor will they loft a small child on their shoulders.

Good luck! :)

Our family of 17 :grouphug: will be there February 9 - 16. We would love to see the HEA Fireworks, but can't afford the Dessert Party. I didn't know the grassy area in front of Casey's was open to All Guests...I thought it was reserved for those paying for the Dessert Party. It would be so great if we could grab a spot in front of Casey's. Seems like it would be a little more contained and a little less crazy. Can you confirm? :thumbsup2

Confirmed.
But, with 17 in your group, add some time to your pre-arrival.
