Where to watch fireworks outside parks?

We're meeting up with some friends and staying at Animal Kingdom first before heading to Boardwalk. It's their kids' first time to Disney World and we thought it'd be fun to try to catch some fireworks their first night there. Without going into the parks (they have limited day tickets), where do you recommend to watch fireworks? Doesn't matter which park. Thanks!!

If it is an off night not holiday event the 4th floor viewing platform of contemporary is great.

If you can time it right, on the boat going between TTC and MK.

If you want a comfortable seat with table service, great food and drinks, piped-in music, and an up-close view of the Electrical Water Pageant on Bay Lake after, head over to Wilderness Lodge and Geyser Point. You will not see any projections and will not see Tinker Bell but it will be a fun evening... relaxed and enjoyable.

Another possibility: at the GF, right outside Gasparilla Island Grill. Food and drinks, tables and chairs, and a great view.

It is indeed. Consider adding a trip on the monorail and/or a boat, if you visit a monorail resort or WL. Bus AKL to MK, boat to WL for Geyser Point. Bus AKL to MK, boat MK to GF for Gasparilla, monorail from GF all around and back to MK for bus to AKL.
