I am going to Disney World in January. Can anyone tell me where I can catch the college footbal games on Disney grounds (other than the ESPN club)? I was hoping for some insider info!!!

I've been fortunate enough the last two years to have my Jets on MNF the first week of December. That way I don't have to miss a game while at WDW. As for places to catch a game..............

Last year I watch at the Territory Lounge at the WL (where we were staying). Quiet and only a regular TV..............but the beer was cold.

This year I met KNWVIKING over at the Tambu Lounge at the Poly. They have a big screen and Amber Bach on tap.

I've heard rumors of a big screen at Port Orleans?

I'm sure ESPN is more trouble than it is worth.

My Dad, brother and I went to the All-Star Cafe at the Wide World of Sports prior to an Orlando Rays game a couple of years ago and found it to be very good - in fact, the food was considerably better than the ESPN Club. They have big screens all around and the waitress put on a Red Sox game for us when we asked. Since it's a bit off the beaten path, I'd guess it'll be much less crowded than the ESPN Club.

This would be great, but I went on their website and they close at 9:00 p.m. The Sugarbowl begins at 6:00 p.m. Orlando time. I would hate to be kicked out at the end of the game.

Thanks for the advice. Maybe I can catch a day game there.

The ESPN club may be crowded..but it is great! DH thinks life is good because their or tvs in the potty!!..;)

Funny, funny. This will be the second year in a row we'll be at Disney during a bowl game. Last year, my DH actually went to the Cap One Bowl while DS and I went to Disney Quest. Then I watch the last part of the game (Auburn and Penn State) at the pool bar while DS played in the pool -- yes it was warm enough on New Year's Day for DS to play in the pool!

This year, alas, we are at the Music City Bowl (Auburn), and DH, too, will be looking for a big-screen tv on which to watch the game. Since we'll be checking into the Poly on NYE day, maybe the lounge there will be a good place, but I suspect that he will end up at the ESPN Club with all you other sports fans.

War Eagle and happy bowling to everyone out there (except Wisconsin, of course ;) !)
