Where to view the afternoon parade at MK

We(DH, me, DS4, DS3, DS2, and DS 4mo.)are going in May and on our first weekend their aren't going to the parks except for one afternoon ONLY to watch the parade. Is there a good spot to watch it from that is shaded? Thanks for your input.

We like the covered walkway near the Diamond Horseshoe Saloon.

Are those places where people are going to be in front of us? This will be the only time we watch an afternoon parade and I'd like my boys to be as close as possible...

We had a great view standing on a raised platform around a tree right near the covered area that seperates Adventureland from Frontierland. I think the platform was in front of the Frontierland General Store. Noone was behind us trying to see, and we were up higher than the people lining the street. Got some great pictures, too!
