Where to view pixar parade?

Where in the plaza do they actually have this, and is it a real parade, or more of a stationary show?
We will be using our FP for grizzly afterwards, so where would be the best place for us to stake out? TIA!

there isnt much details about it so i cant really tell u. Most likely, its gonna just be like the original block party bash stopping at the to locations. The only difference is new floats, new music(i think) and you get WEEEEEET! If there is a legal problem there, then they will shoot out bubbles.

It's going to follow the same route of the BPB stopping along the way at specific locations. It's a parade, not a stationary show. The park map has the route marked.

Does anyone know where it comes out from on the AP preview day march 13th? We just want to see it go by and then move on....we don't want to be at the end of the parade route if you know what I mean

I believe it starts right between Hollywood and A Bug's Land, right near the Sun Wheel.

ACtually it starts near where the Sunshine Plaza leads into Hollywood Pictures Backlot and ends up by Orange Stinger/Mulholland Madness. Here's a very old (opening season it looks like) map showing the parade route (route hasn't changed, but the map sure has)
