Where to use traveler's checks?

I'm trying to decide how much to bring in cash vs travelers checks and I was wondering where can you use (or not use) the traveler's checks? Can you use them throughout the parks for counter service food? What about at the little drink, snack, and pin stands? I really don't want to carry a lot of cash, but if I can't use the travelers checks for counter service, I will have to.

You can use TC almost anywhere, although I don't think that the food carts take them, but we paid with them at counter restaurants for example, the one that overlooks "its a small world" and don't forget you will get your cahnge in cash, I would err on the side of caution and take mostly TC's after all if you lose them they are replaced almost immediatly (we even picked our replacements up at the bank at Epcot when we had them stolen within 12 hrs of reporting it they were there waiting for us) you wont get cash replaced that quickly if your insurance will replace it at all!

I have used tc's everywhere, including the little food carts. They are accepted anywhere cash is accepted!!!!!

we used tc at just about everywhere last year. we used a tc, then used the change till it was out then used another tc.

We use travelers checks for almost everything. Don't get $20's its a waste of ink.
