We are going to the World for the 5th time, this time taking our 50 something Auntie for her 1st WDW trip. I want to take her for a really nice meal. Not TOO expensive but special, memorable and something unique to Disney World.

Any suggestions? Keeping in mind that we will be bringing an 11 yr. old with us.

""Not to expensive" is a relative term so I am not sure if these would work.
'Ohana is fun, with a great Polynesian Atmosphere and views out the windows of the lagoon and of in the distance, Cinderella's Castle. The food is all you can eat and really good.
California Grill also offers a great view with good food.
1900 Park Fair has decent food ina pretty and fun room with characters and a buffet.
Cinderella's Royale Table at MK is very Disney and easier to get into for lunch and dinner. The food is decent and the scene is great.
The Brown Derby at Disney MGM has a nice atmosphere and some good food and sometimes there are charcters roaming around though not the "usual" Disney cartoon ccaracters.

Well, how about the CB at 1900 PF? You can even order Mimosas for the adults :) The atmosphere is wonderful, yet it is a CM for the 11 year old.

IF you ar elooking for something a little out of the ordinary, tryu 50's PT for lunch..it's a hoot and a half, the prices are reasonable, and the food is great!

For dinner, the Kona Cafe is wonderful. We also enjoy Mama Melroses.

We jsut ate at Narcooses and it absolutely delicious! More expensive than the others mentioned above, but so worth it, and a very unique atmosphere.

I'd agree with Narcoosee's--very "Diusney", what with the GF location, the MK view, etc.

California grill is also a great spot, for most of the same resaons.

They are both somewhat "expensive", but I don't think they cross the line as "too expensive".
