:earsgirl: I need some guidance. We will be staying at the GF 6/23 - 6/26 with our 2 children 5 and 7. We have stayed there before but without the kids and in November. We have been to Disney with the kids and have been at OKW and BWV - but with the grandparents who where a big help. Both of those times also at off season in November and December. We want to extend our stay fron 6/26 - till 7/1. Should we stay at the GF but upgrade to concierge? Should we move to another place like Poly, or Beach Club, Cont of WL? I am so afraid we will not enjoy the trip as much since it will be peak time - summer and near 4th of July, any help and advice would be gratly appreciated!

I think with two little ones you will find the location of GF a great place. The monorail and boat will help alot. I would suggest doing some afternoon breaks which will help with the crowds and make your stay much more enjoyable.

Was with family this weekend in the parks and all commented on the very tired children. Too many parents make the mistake of doing the parks as a marathon all day. By the afternoon and evening they have the cranky kids. Lesson here go early but return to the hotel for lunch, a nap or swim. You can then return in the evening to shorter lines, cooler temps and children ready to go.

As for Concierge, I dont think you will need it. If you enjoy the extra perks of this room level then go for it. But I really think you will be fine.
