We are planning a five day trip to DW - it is our first time. We have three young children (4, 4, and 2) and cannot decide whether we should stay at the Contemporary because of its convenience to MK or at Animal Kingdom because of its theming. Our kids love animals, but will it be a pain to go back and forth if we need a break in the middle of the day? Is there any other place we should consider?

Well, I'm a BIG fan of the monorail resorts with young kids. You cannot beat the convenience especially if your main park visiting will be MK.

We love the Contemporary because of it's location! It's the only resort that you can walk to MK! That is a great bonus at the end of the day when the bus and monorail lines are long.

I love how the monorail goes right threw it and so do my kids. It has a great game room.

It has wonderful views. It's got a reat marina for water sports. The rooms are the largest of all the resorts. Plenty of room for you and your family!

Many people do not like the theme of the Contemporary. We love it. Walt designed it!

I'd like to stay at Animal Kingdom someday but maybe when our kids are older. It's just too far away from all the parks.

Have fun planning!
