What are you looking for as far as price? What are your interests- will you be going back to resorts in middle of day often or at park? What parks are you going to visit most frequently?
1. Transportation- BC is walking distance to 2 parks but with a child under 3 and 5 year old I don't know how much those little legs can handle. There is a boat to MK from WL but they share buses with other resorts to the other parks. AKL is closest to AK but farthest from MK, however that being said they do not share buses with other resorts and have a good reputation of being really good. From what I understand once you are on the bus to MK its maybe 15 minutes or so as compared to 5-10 most other places- ( not that big a time difference to me)
2. Size of room- standard rooms at BC are larger than the WL and AKL - AKL and WL are the same size. ( I personally do not feel cramped at AKL or WL but a family of 5 I could see a standard room being small.
3. Price- WL and AKL are substantially less than BC for standard rooms. However price does go up if you want a Savannah view room. With family of 5 if you can afford a 1 bedroom at AKL you will have space and can enjoy the animals. WL has been doing construction on rooms and a 1 bedroom there could possibly suffice as well.
4. All the pools have their + and -. That being said I hear the BC is very nice with sand bottom pool. WL has been under construction and has new swimming being added and the views are great in the courtyard. AKL is a nice pool, their plus is that you are allowed to swim at Kidani Village pool as well and they ( Kidani)have possibly the best kids pool area at Disney
5. Atmosphere- all have a very different theme- choose your poison- Is your family into the Upper NW feel, an African lodge where you can wake up and see animals at the resort and possibly on your balcony, or do you enjoy the beach and enjoy a beach theme.
