Hi. My kids will be 7 and 5 when we visit Disney in October. We will not be going to a water park and our choices to stay are at Coronado Beach or Carribean Beach. I am having trouble deciding which one would be a better fit. Any help in deciding is much appreciated

Would you prefer more of a kid theme or more of a grown up theme? Both resorts are gorgeous, but Caribbean Beach rooms have a Nemo theme and Coronado rooms have more of a grown up Mexican theme.

We enjoyed both resorts, but found CBR to be a bit more vibrant and fun.

I think both would be great but because of your kids' ages, I'd lean toward CBR.

Have a great trip.

:)

CSR is very nice, but it is more of a 'mature' feel to it! The pool there is very nice. Your kids may like CBR better :) Good luck and have fun!!

My kids are the same age. We stayed at CBR last year. We had a cute Nemo room that the kids got a kick out of. The pool at CBR is zero entry which is great for the kids. If I were choosing between the two, I'd pick CBR (but I'm really just not a fan of the CSR theme). My one negative about CBR is the size. I think people are split on what constitutes a long walk....but after a day at the park with little ones, the last thing I wanted to do was walk 10 minutes to fill our mugs or get a snack (yes, 10 mins when the kids were dragging behind, not wanting to walk another minute).

I would say CBR. We stayed there Sept 25-Oct 1 2011 and it was great. They will LOVE the water slides in the huge pool (so will mom and dad) and all it has to offer. Have fun!
