Where to Stay??

Trying to decide where to stay for our pre-Christmas trip.

We orginally planned to stay the entire 8 nights at the Runaway Bay condos at Calypso Cay. They are supposed to be new and very nice (any info about them would be great.) But, I got the same price for the 8 nights at the All Star Music. And if I wasn't already mixed up enough my friend suggested we try the Royal Pacific Resort for 3 nights of our stay. So here are my choices....

Calypso Cay-8 nights
All Star Music-5 nights/Royal Pacific Resort- 3 nights
Calypso Cay-5 nights/Royal Pacific Resort-3 nights

Please help me decide!!

We have been to Disney twice before. The first time we stayed off site and the next at Port Orleans/Hard Rock Hotel. There are 3 of us going...all adults. We aren't going to rent a car since all the hotels offer transportation. Thanks for the help.

I cannot imagine 3 adults in an all star room. I was crazed with just me and my 2 sons and we really don't spend much time there. In my opinion if you can stay at a brand new condo minutes from the parks for the same price as the cracker box all stras what are you debating? I don't mean to put down the All stars, I know lots of folks love them, just not me. We have stayed at Portifino twice and it is a lovley hotel, and I have read good things about Royal Pacific as well. The front of the line access can't be beat at Universal, although we were there early December last year and except for Grinchmas really didn't need it. Do a search on Calypso Cay, I know there are several reveiws of the condos all "raves". Have a great trip!
