which is the preferred location when staying off disney property...
maingate, maingate east, maingate west, lake beuna vista, any other area that i don't know about? I'm looking for a nice hotel that is really close to disney...thanks

With so many hotels to pick from, you need one that meets your needs.

What's your budget? What amenities are you looking for? How many are traveling? Do you have a car?

Tell us what you want and no doubt there will be a solution for you

well, when we stay on-site, we stay at the values. We don't need all the extra frills. I have 2 young boys and any pool will do, however, the do like the zero entry pools and slides. (But not a need.) AP so parking at the parks is not an issue. I really just am looking for a clean and safe hotel that is near disney, and I know nothing about the off-site resorts. And there seems to be good and bad reviews on EVERY hotel in the area. OH, I would love to avoid the parking fee at a hotel if possible...thanks for your help!!!

I suggest Wyndham Bonnet Creek. For less than the price of a Disney value, you can stay in a 2 bedroom villa.

They have 2 zero entry pools, plus slides. It's located next door to the Caribbean Beach resort so the location is perfect. Parking is free.

Comfort Suites Main Gate East and Beuna Vista Suites tend to get pretty good reviews on this site and both have free parking and free breakfast. If I didn't rent a condo or villa, those would be my first two choices for a clean, comfortable off site hotel.
