Ok. Next fall, the company I work for (I work as travel writer) is sending me to DL again for the Halloween/fall celebrations. We (me and hubby) went there in Oct of this year and loved it, so it was a no-brainer we wanted to go back.

My sister and her girlfriend would like to come too. Question: where should we stay? We stayed at CCI in October, but my work will only pay so much with more people going, I'm thinking of somewhere cheaper. Plus, hubby and I were hardly ever in the room anyway. :)

HoJo is definitely a Disboards favorite, especially if you can get the Entertainment Book rate that is unique to the Anaheim HoJo. Check out their discussion boards at hojoanaheim for more info on that.

Now how on earth did you get that wonderful fabulous incredible job?????

We really like the Holiday Inn on South Walnut. It's just completing renovations and so everything is new in the rooms.. You can see picture of the room in my trip report link on this post.:goodvibes

It's resonable, clean, great staff and we like it has an ART shuttle to the park.. 4 dollars for transportation back and forth to the park til the park closes.

Whereever you stay... may you have a happy trip with lots of disney memories and safe travel.:wizard:

We always stay at the Anaheim Plaza. Their rates are cheap. Their rooms have fridges and microwaves (at least the ones we were in did.) It's nothing fancy. Just an old hotel. But it works for us since we're never in the room anyway.

If you know your dates already, keep checking the Desert Inn daily because after the new year they post the rates for the whole year. You can snag a C1 or C2 suite for dirt cheap like $109. Divide that by 2 couples and you have an excellent room for almost nothing. I did that last year for a fall trip.

Ohhhh I want your job! :) How awesome is that!!!!!

I'm a big fan of the HoJo, you could get the Ent Card and get 2 rooms for the price of one most other places. It's got indoor corridors and the beds are amazing! :) Get the card and book the $69 rooms, or get a $59 pavilion room. The Pav. rooms don't have the super awesome beds though. :)
