Hi. I really need your help. My husband and I have been taking my daughter to Disney World for her birthday since she was 4. This year she is turning 15 the day we arrive, which is the day before Thanksgiving by the way. The condo that we usually stay at is unavailable this year. Can anyone help me with finding another complex the has a really neat pool area? We only go to the park one day, (Husband Disneyed out!) and on the other days, we usually stay at the condo. I don't want my daughter to be "bored". If you are a parent of a teenager, you'll surely understand what I'm taking about! Or maybe a place that has other things to do besides swim?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Have you thought about staying one night on-site at US/IOA and then spending two days in the park with unlimited Express Line access (day you check in and the day you check out)? My kids are teens and they love US/IOA. In fact, we end up spending more time there than at WDW now. My kids preferred hotel is the Hard Rock. It has a great pool area with entertainment most of the afternoon/evening.

You might try Vista Cay Resort it is conveniently located to Sea World, Aquatica, Universal, International Drive, loads to do. There is a great pool and 10,000 sq. ft. Clubhouse with a Games Room, Movie Theater, Sports Court, Exercise Facility, DVD's to rent, etc. There are 2 to 3 bedroom condos and 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom townhomes.

Check out www.vistacayrent.com, that's a site of owners in Vista Cay, or places on www.vrbo.com and www.homeaway.com. A great management site is www.rentorlandoproperties.com and click on Vista Cay properties, lots of nice places there, too.

I checked out the VistaCay website you posted and where do I find rates?

I am at Bonnet Creek right now with 2 16 yr old girls and 2 13 year old girls... they love it...:thumbsup2 It is close enough to Disney to see their fireworks but you are not to Disneyed out. You are about 2o minutes from Universal, which are the parks we have been going to while staying here. The pools are great, 2 lazy rivers & 1 pool with a slide. there is mini golf, a rec room... there are games at the pool durning the day & not just for little kids... check out their site.... my 21 year old & her friends were here too.. but they left. They too loved it. Friends of mine are here with their family and they have very young kids.. and they love it as well. This place is great for all ages..:thumbsup2

Hi,

Most people have their own websites. If you click on a property in which you are intereseted, to the left of it, there will be information about the condo/townhome, there will be a personal website for that condo/townhome, click on that, which will take you to the owners' website, and there you should usually find rates. It works the same as windsorhillsrent.

Hope that makes sense!

There are several resorts that have have a lot of activities. Bonnet Creek would be good as it has a lazy river and it is as close to WDW as you can get without actually being on property (great location). Vistana Resort has a lot of activities as well. Then there is Orange Lake. Its lazy river is larger than Bonnet Creek and there is tons of activity on the resort including Jet Skis, golf, swimming, the standard tennis courts, recreational room, etc.

I would look for the larger resorts with multiple amenities rather than the smaller resorts with fewer amenities. If all you want is a pool, all the resorts have pools from what I've seen. Vacation Village at Parkway, Hilton Grand Vacation Club, Mariott, etc. fit this description. Many of these are very nice but again the list of amenities is smaller than resorts like Vistana or Orange Lake. The pool at Mariott Harbour (I think) has a very nice Pirate ship for smaller children.
