Hi there. We are planning to visit Universal in November for about 4 nights and need to stay where there is transportation to the park that won't break our budget. 2 adults and 3 kids. Would like to just rent one room if possible. Does anyone have suggestions? Thanks in advance!

You can have a cot put in any room or you can bring along an air mattress.

If you don't want to do that, the Hard Rock Hotel has deluxe rooms that have two queen beds and a pull out couch.

Are you wanting to stay onsite where you can walk to the parks?

Yes, onsite would be the best. I am going to check that out at the Hard Rock. Other than AAA discount, are you aware of any ways to get the room rate lowered? Thanks for the reply.

The deluxe rooms at the Portofino Bay also have a sofa bed. The rooms are very spacious. We stayed there with 3 kids a few years ago, and really enjoyed it! Other than the super-saver discount or AAA, I'm not aware of any other discounts unless you get an Annual Pass. You will love staying on-site. :thumbsup2

The longer you stay, the cheaper your nightly rate becomes.

damo is right and for a example I will be staying for 7 days at RPR in july and the standard rate was $249 a night and with the stay more and save more I am paying $174 a night
