That is the market working - a good way to select your home is to decide what is important to you so you can make a shortlist, then ask questions of those on your list.

Are you talking about Windsor Hills, Windsor Palms or some other Windsor developement ? I think there's a Windsor Park east on 192 somewhere.

You will find prices vary as do the quality of the home's furnishings, amenities, electronics, etc., from home to home. Some have better TVs, free internet, free phone calls, high end mattresses, etc (but all of this doesn't come cheap of course, to the homeowner that is).

It really depends on what you're looking for, first of all, what size home do you need? Start with # of bedrooms.

Do you want your own private pool?

Do you want amenities like free internet?

The resort is all gorgeous and brand new, it would be almost impossible to find anything bad in the resort, so there's nothing I would put on my "avoid" list necessarily (although my DW, who is very picky about where we stay, wouldn't agree with me at all in this regard, she cares a lot about decorating, bedding, etc).

If you go and check the "reviews" sub-forum there are many reviews of DISsers who's stayed in various homes in Windsor Hills, I'm pretty sure most are positive too! It's not going to help you though if you're looking at a condo and people respond to this post who've stayed in larger pool homes, for instance, so for starters, pick the size / type home you're interested in and go from there!

Thanks so much everyone!!! Windsor Hills is right, and I really appreciate the help!!! I am looking for a three bedroom and the location is important in two regards, a quiet building. I am a noise freak and the main thing is not a noisy area. The second, and this comes from my fiancee', he would like a place where we are able to see the fireworks. That, to me, is not drastic, if we found one, great, if not I plan to be in Disney enough to see the fireworks in person:-) The littlest person is a bit sensitive to loud noises so watching them from a distance might be a benefit. BUT, again, I think it will be fine and of course price is important. I see people advertising a lower price but it seems they have many of the amenities that are available in the more expensive ones, I am trying to figure out if some of it is just people and their personal pricing, afterall they do OWN the place and have the right to ask for more if they wish. Thanks for all the help, if there are any other suggestions please feel free tos end them my way.

Hmm....well...I think if you want less noise then I would probably opt for a townhome versus a condo. Condos have the shared areas, hallways, that sort of thing. Not that I'm putting them down in any way, they're VERY nice, I just think you'd have a touch more quiet in a townhome. Now, in a townhome, you will give up fireworks. Honestly, you can't see them very well from the condos either, and you can just barely hear them, if you really want to see them well you need to go there and see them in person.

Hope this helps!

Oh...townhomes have private pools so prices tend to be slightly higher than condos...FYI.

There's pros and cons to each of course, it all depends on what's important to you really!
