Where to stay pre cruise?

I have a question about Homewood Suites...is there a pool? I am trying to figure out a good hotel for the night before and like the idea of a two bedroom but want the kids to have something to do...

According to the website, yes, there is pool.

I'm looking at 2 options now - comfort inn or country inn and suites. I think we are going to do Kennedy space center the day before the cruise. If so then I will prob rent a car but return that same night.
Do you know if there is a rental car location close to comfort inn?

There is Thrifty, Enterprise, Avis,... on the road headed toward the port about 3 minutes from the Comfort Inn.

I think it's the Hyatt for us. Appreciate the info
