Where to stay? Nov/Dec 2010

Hi. We are planning a trip for our family for late November and early December 2010. We have 7 children, ages 23 to almost a year. We were also hoping to get a villa for my sisters and their families (9 people total). This has been a tough year. Our baby had open heart surgery, my mother passed away and my brother-in-law's cancer has spread to his brain, all within the past 12 months. We have a lot of bills but I've been trying to sell some things and make things for our local Farmer's Market so we can take a nice vacation the week after Thanksgiving. We would wait another year but we have GAD tickets this year and bought tickets for the VMCP already.

Dilemna. I had a person commit to renting us a 4br/3ba villa with a private pool in a gated community. We stayed at one of her properties before and it included a washer/dryer, grill, high chair, crib, stroller, etc. I was quoted a price of $600/week plus an extra $160 for the pool heated. There are two villas on the same street we could use. I was preparing to send in the paperwork. However, now I'm being told it is $630 plus 13% tax plus $175 to heat pool and $150 - $200 to use a grill and rent the baby things. Does anyone have any ideas on where to rent? We will only be going to Disney for the GAD and the VMCP. The other days will be for resting, at the pool and maybe a dinner show and mini golf. We need a full kitchen to eat most meals there. We like the idea of a private pool for our family. Any ideas? Thanks.

Check with RobinRS. I remember asking about renting houses in the area a few years ago, and she was very helpful. (Don't ask why I remember that - my boss would laugh that I can remember THIS kind of stuff...)

Windsor Hills!

we stayed at 5mins2disney.com and it really was 5 minutes away! Unfortunately they aren't available for our next trip but we really loved them.
