Out of your options, I voted for GF LV. I know a nice spot in big pine key, you might be intersted in. ;) I was just crunching numbers for summer too and they are high, not sure if I can keep my fingers crossed for the 30% ap rates. Hope its not a problem like last time, on the phone. I tried calling for hours and got all but 1 nite discounted at the poly, for nov/dec.

The rooms in gf you really only need 1 cause the couch bed is large as a single bed. But it is still steeper than the other 2 monorail hotels. In my figures on my dates the cr tower club is even cheaper than the lv at gf. ::yes:: Just in case you didn't notice. And you know I'm partial to the poly. :hyper: Poly gv concerige, & regular lv, & gv are way more economical if that helps. :smooth: I always like to mix the epcot resorts with the magic kingdom resorts, we don't like to stay on 1 side if we change hotels. Otherwise just opt up and cash your room for the days before? and you don't have to move. I'm not DVC, but I thought this was an option?

Happy planning. MKY princess:

Ooh, mky, that room would be nice! ;) LOL

As for staying at BWV for the entire time, the DVC Member rate would be $529 per night plus taxes, plus we'd have to switch villas (the cash rate is a garden/water view, our DVC stay is for a Boardwalk view).

I'm thinking two rooms at the Contemporary Tower would be awesome, but, I know there is no way that would fit into the budget (well, unless Disney decides to discount like crazy!). Two garden view rooms at the Polynesian wouldn't be bad, either (nor would a concierge lagoon view!). Or, I could go for one room at the GF, but it is kinda nice to have 2 bathrooms...

Ahh, I can never decide! LOL

The more I think about it, the more I really need to set a price limit to my choices. That'll probably be the only way I'll ever be able to decide on anything.

After looking at the prices from last year, I saw that AKL Savanna View went for $201 per night, plus taxes. That's a bit too expensive. Standard view went for $129, which I think is a pretty good price.

Basicly what I'm thinking is that the "cap" price I'll go with will be $300 a night, before taxes. That'll probably give us 2 standard AKL rooms (2003 rate - $129), 2 woods view at WL (2003 rate - $139), 2 standard wing rooms at the CR (2003 rate - $149), a lagoon or garden concierge at the Polynesian (2003 rates - $285/295), or a garden view at the GF (2003 rate - $275).

Any suggestions from the above?

if Disney wants to offer a $199/night passholder rate for AKL Concierge, I would book two rooms!

I have gotten AKL concierge rooms for as low as $229. (Value)
I think during the summer, it was $289, as I got 2 rooms for that trip, for parents, etc.

Those AP discounts really do help!

and
Boy do I miss the old Magic Kingdom Club!

You and me, both!

Cali...you are using the 800 number for all these calls, right?::yes::

Of course! ;) I can't even imagine what the phone bill would be like if I wasn't! When I booked our WL stay, I was on hold for almost an hour before someone picked up, then it took almost an hour to make the reservation because of computer problems (I guess, the CM said it wouldn't let her do it, so she kept putting me on hold having a supervisor help). Plus, all the times I called to "see" if AP rates were out, that took almost an hour on hold each time! LOL
