Hi there,

We're planning a trip to New York in December.

I've been reaching hotels.

Where do you like to stay when you go to NYC.

We are not looking for a value hotel, something a little more upscale with amenitties.

Well if money is no object then I would stay at the Plaza or Four Seasons!

The Marriott Marquis, Doubletree Times Square and the Hilton Millenium are all very nice as well.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn-Chelsea on 24th Street last Sunday night. I used Hilton Honors points. The hotel was very nice, and included a continental breakfast. It is on the #1 subway line. We walked from Penn Station. We took a cab to 67th street to see the Regis & Kelly Show LIVE. We had a great time.

We love the Drake by Central Park and the Marriott Marquis in Time's Square. Both are very nice.

We are booked into the Residence Inn Times Square. It is brand new, looked great and is close to what we want to see. It is quite reasonably priced as well.

Here's a thumbs up for the Westin Times Square. Great location, good service, nice rooms.

We have stayed at the Marriott Marquis many times and it is in the heart of Times Square! It is lovely and sometimes you can get specials online if you register with Marriott.com! Get yourself their REWARDS card as well.

IMPORTANT IMPORTANT!!! If you are going in December GET YOUR RESSIES ASAP. December is probably the MOST popular time of year for NYC. Everyone goes for the shopping, the shows and most importantly the ROCKETTES! If you think you want tix to Rockettes, those you can order NOW online under Christmas Spectacular!!!

Other lovely hotels in TS is the DoubleTree Suites and the "W"!! I have stayed at the Hilton NY on Ave of the Americas..that is wonderful as well!

BUT OP: Do not delay or the only hotels left will be the likes of the Waldorf Astoria getting around $600.00 a night! :goodvibes

p.s. make your ressies and check their cancellation policy...at least you will have the ressie BEFORE everyone else and if you have to cancel, then no problem. Marriotts are generally 24 hours cancellation notice.

I LOVE  THE BIG APPLE!!!
