Where to Stay in Myrtle Beach SC

My Cousin & I are going to Myrtle Beach (Girls trip) 2nd week in September. We would like to stay on the beach & close to the boardwalk. We have never been there. So any suggestions or advice would be great. Thanks

Just got information from my Mom in Kentucky about a Myrtle Beach bus tour, from her town. It's this coming fall.
Anyway, the letter mentions Dayton House Resort as the trip's home base.
I checked tripadvisor, and found good reviews.
My Mom is in her 80's, so not sure if we will be able to go.
have been other times with her on a tour, and enjoyed the area.

I asked this very question about a week or so ago. If you do a search in this thread for Affordable Myrtle Beach Vacation, Possible? you should find it. There were ALOT of really good suggestions. HTH
