Where to stay for one night

We are visiting Disneyland for the first time next week. We've booked Paradise Pier Tuesday-Saturday. We want our first day in the Parks to be Tuesday morning. We will be sightseeing in LA on Monday. What would be the best option for a one night stay that will allow us to get to the parks first thing Tuesday morning and then transfer easily to PP Tuesday night? Also, I bought a four day pass on orbitz so I should be able to get Magic Morning on Tuesday too, correct? I even thought maybe just stay somewhere outside the area and drive to PP very early Tuesday. Guessing I could arrive that early and park my car so that part is done after late night in the parks. Just trying to figure best option and DL is totally new to us WDW vets.
Thanks in advance.

We are doing something similar to you, only we check in to DLH on Sunday. Our plan is: Saturday Night we are staying close by at the Sheraton Anaheim and then very early we are going to go check in to DLH, park the car, and store our luggage. Then head to the parks from DLH. When I say early, my plan is to be at DLH at around 6am since there is EE/EMH at both parks at 7am. I am hoping this will be a smooth process. We have done it at WDW a couple times and it has worked well.

Good Luck!

Princessmocha has the right idea. I've stayed at DLH a few times and not everytime its for multiple nights. We just choose a nice 3+ star hotel in the area for the first night. the hilton is probably my favorite area hotel. If you are only just going to use it as a place to sleep i would suggest doing the Name-your-own-price on priceline. ive never been let down on what hotel they give me and the prices are unbeatable.

my trick is to go to the express deals and see what prices are. then name my own price a little bit below that. i know it seems sketchy at first to not know what hotel you are getting until its booked but you know the area, the amenities and the star level. it usually winds up being the wyndham anaheim (formerly the crowne plaza) for 3 star. although i have been given the marriot suites before.

Whatever you decide just get out early and park your car at PP and check in. they will store your bags until youre room is ready. the earlier the better because the GCH entrance to DCA gets kind of crowded. you wind up spending 15 mins in line to get in and that takes away from your EMH.

HAVE A GREAT TIME!

We are staying at the Motel 6 Anaheim Maingate our first night. After breakfast early the next morning head to DLH and hit the parks.

I've heard good things about the Candy Cane Inn. A friend of mine stayed there over NYE and said that it is close to the park and the room was clean and very acceptable. He also liked the staff. The other hotel I hear good things about is the Howard Johnson.

Have a great trip! I love DL!

We have Castle Inn and Suites booked through orbitz for January 30th - as we will be checking out from the DLH after 5 nights there - so the opposite but taking advantage of weekday discounts so we don't mind and getting an extra day/night at DLR is worth the offsite for a night!

We also have stayed multiple times at Super 8 on Katella , Hotel Indigo, Anaheim Marriott , Residence Inn Garden Grove , Anabella ( though this was 6 year ago) , and Best Western on Katella ( can't recall exact name but has a Denny's in the parking lot.)

You can use code review15 for 15% off some hotels too.
