I need to make a reservation for the first two nights of our 13 day trip to Disney Sept 14-26th. We will check into the BCV on Sun 16th but need to make ressie's for Fri 14th and Sat 15th.

We have 2 little boys ages 4 & 5 and we were hoping to stay in a bunk bed room. Our first choice was Animal Kingdom but I'm afraid I've waited too long to make the reservation and all rooms will be sold out. Our second choice was Nickelodeon Studios however I have read some really terrible reviews about it being dirty? Not a way I want to start our big trip. We will be arriving to Orlando late on Friday night and Sat morning plan to wake up and go to Universal all day. Sunday morning before checkout is pretty much the only time we will have to check out the resorts facilities.
Any suggestions?

How about WL? I just did a quick search on disneyworld.com and there are bunk bed rooms available there. Plus its just a boat ride from the MK.

If you are going to Universal I would stay on site. We have stayed at Hard Rock quite a few times and absolutely love it, especially our daughter. There is also the Royal Pacific and Portofino Bay. You also get to bypass lines on All rides if you stay at a Universal Hotel. DH and I must have riden Men in Black 15 times in a row, it was a blast.

You might want to do something different than BC, like really different.

WL might be fun, or as was suggested stay a couple nights right at Universal.

We definately considered staying @ the Royal Pacific because of the location to the park and the front of the line pass. Do you think that we will need it on a Saturday in Value season? Is Hard Rock good for little guys?
Many thanks!

I don't really know the crowds at Universal in Value season. You can go on the Universal board and ask.

My daughter was around 12 when we stayed there the 1st time. The pool has music playing underwater. I just don't know if a 4 & 5 year old would enjoy the Hard Rock. They have all different displays of rock memorabila (sp.) that I don't think youngsters would appreciate.

I do think if it is less busy and you can do without front of the line I would consider Nickelodene Studios, more for your childrens age group. I've never stayed there so I can't comment on rooms. Maybe you can call the hotel and see if they any rooms have been refurbished.

4 & 5 - little boys - then Sports if they are interested in sports - All Star Sports.

Music or Movie.

none of the above - then pop Century!

you can use DME so you won't need a car. Disney will transfer your luggage.

besides AKL, WL and FW cabins have bunk beds.

but at your kids ages I think they would prefer a value resort - it was designed with kids in mind.
