We've stayed at our home DVC (SSR) and BCV but in November will be staying at OKW. Can anyone give me hints as to which section to request..near the main area, bus stops, pool areas (laundry- cause we're staying in a studio)? Thanks for any help.

Laundry rooms are located at each swimming pool, so there is not only one laundry room. They are small, though, so you need to get there and get the laundry done promptly.

There are four bus stops other than the Hospitality House. Any of them are good.

Wow, you'll get all different answers on this. One time, we had Miller's Road, which I loved for the combination of privacy and convenience. But the next time, when we got Turtle Pond, I noticed that Miller's Road was the last bus stop, and on 2 occassions during the week, the bus got packed by the time it reached Turtle Pond, so we bypassed Miller's Road. So I'm not so sure about Miller's Road now. Some people love Southpoint, but we've had mediocre views and noise from the main road when we've stayed in that area. Turtle Pond area was OK, but I still think that, as long as you've got a car, I like Miller's Road the best.

We like building 14 right across from HH.

Anywhere at OKW is close to a pool, bus stop, laundry, etc. There are no bad places to stay at OKW, having said that the studios are often not the best rooms, they are on the sides of the buildings and toward the front. The rooms are nice but don't expect a good view from a studio.

We almost just got and we were in building 64, room #6424 on 2nd floor in one of the elevator buildings, we loved it with a passion :sunny:

We got off at the first bus-stop being Peninsular Rd and walked back instead of going round the whole resort before it stopped at the Hospitality House.

Beautiful resort & many fond memories :goodvibes
