Where to stay AoA or AKL?

I currently have a end of Nov. res for AoA LK for myself, DH, DS12 and DD3. We like the idea of bed for each and two baths. Our trip was pushed back from September where we had planned to stay at WL. I have a good friend who loves AKL and mentioned it. We can get a pool view room for the same cost as AoA. What would you suggest? I like the idea of more amenities, slide at pool for DS, the animals, etc. TIA!

You can try and rent points from a DVC member here on the forums and get a savanna view for $190 a night! I will be staying at AKL in August over AOA.But still plan on visiting AOA in December once the Mermaid rooms open.

We just returned from AKL. It was myself, DH, DS17 and DS7. I booked a pool view bunk bed room and we were upgraded to a Savana View bunk bed room. This was our first stay at AKL and it was beautiful. The detailing of the resort is amazing and the bunk beds worked perfectly with the 2 boys. We all enjoyed it immensly.

You can not go wrong with any of your choices. WL is great too - we have stayed there as well. Can not comment on AoA, other than we did pass by during our stay at WDW.

Both AKL & WL have bunk bed rooms with 1 queen. So everyone would still get their own bed.

I would choose AKL if it was me, but then having 2 tv's and 2 bathrooms would be nice, but only if you need them

I've stayed at all three and my vote would by - AKL first, WL second, AoA very, very, very last! Deluxe will always win out over value! I don't care how many bathrooms there are! Yes, go for the bunk beds if you want separate beds for everyone. The amenities - particularly at AKL (superior restaurants and pools over WL) - outweigh anything AoA has to offer. I found AoA to be loud and uncomfortable and, other than swimming and playing in an arcade, there is NOTHING to do there.

Go AKL!! Go WL!!

AKL is SO superior to AoA (okay I haven't stayed there, but the values are really all the same).
