Sometimes the more internet sites I have, the more confused I get!!!

I am making a definite plan to stay on-site at the Contemporary on May 1st, 2004. I don't know where to begin making reservations!!!!

What do I do? Is it too early to make these? What about discounts or packages that might come up?

I know this is probably an overasked question but I need help!!!!

Thanks again!

No, obnurse2003, its not too early! Are you eligible for any discounts? AAA? Do you want to book a package or room only? Have you called to check out rates? Call 1-407-939-7429 to check it out. Last summers trip was booked over a year in advance and when discounts came out, I called and had them applied. No problem. I'm sure you will get lots of answers here though!!

Good luck!

obnurse,
I just made reservations for Nov 2004 for the WL with a AAA Silver Plan Package. It seems the packages are staying the same for 2004 and AAA is able to book them at this time.

How much $$$$ do you have to deposit to book a reservation?

AAA books through Disney Travel and with packages they require $200 down. Also, I see by your name that you are also a nurse. In case you are not aware the rates for nurses at the Swan and Dolphin are out for 2004 and are the same as they have been this year. Since I am also a nurse I checked them out but decided to stick with my usual package since it works well for me and the package rate through AAA was more than I really wanted to pay staying at the Swan/Dolphin so went with the WL in 2004 which will be a new resort for me.

I just paid my deposit today for our May 1-8, 2004. We are staying at CBR.

Just be careful when you book. The first time I called CRO and somehow got transferred to WDT and didn't realize that I booked under WDT. The AAA rate she gave me was $1295 for seven nights. When I realized what had happened I called CRO and told them I wanted that reseveration cancelled and wanted to rebook under CRO. The same standard room at CBR for the same dates with the AAA discount was then quoted as $955!!! Of course, I'm hoping there will be some AP rates for that time anyway so I guess the rate I booked really doesn't matter. My deposit was $136.00.

By the way obnurse, I'm a Navy Reserve nurse (my specialty used to be oncology). Hope to see you and your lime green next May!!
