Where to spend the night along the way.

Hi all, we are leaving NY around 6:00 am 4/7 & driving until 7m with minimal stops & need a cheap- clean place to spend the night in SC. Any suggestions?

When we drive, we usually stay at a chain hotel, mostly Hampton Inns. They tend to be better lit (for security) and cleaner (a priority for DW). They are also reasonably priced, and have direction signs pointing to them and other hotels at every exit off of I-95. They also offer a free continental breakfast for a quick start the next day, as you can be in the parks by lunchtime.

Hampton Inn is a good choice. My favorite are Fairfield Inn's by Marriott. Usually, prices are around $70-$80 a night. The rooms are allways clean, the locations in good shape and you recieve free high speed internet (a must for me ) and a free contiental breakfast. I havent driven 95 in a few months, but last time we stayed at the Fairfield Inn Florence SC. Right off of 95, they are also close to a nice mall with restaruants and the whole shot....Hope this helps

we did the drive from nj last year easter we stayed in florence i forget wich but it was fine

there are lots of motels there try a google on it there is a
i-95 web site that lists them all
