Where is a good spot to sit at Typhoon Laggon and Blizzard Beach? My girls are 7 and 9 but above 48 inches. Are they strict about they 48 inches in the kids section?
We had a great spot that sounds perfect for your family. When you enter the park go left. Face the wave pool and go left where the overflow water flows into a small bay. There are chairs in that area that will be in the shade by noon if you get them under a tree or along the shrubs.. Our chairs were the furthest away from the water near the sidewalk. The water is shallow and not too much of a wave comes in. There are a couple small slides. Sand to play in. You can leave everything there and travel around clockwise so you can go on the slides in increasing difficulty (we did not go on the big ones like humunga cowabunga). Save wave pool and lazy river for when the slides get busy. A lunch place is nearby.
After years of going over to the wave pool and trying to find a place to sit we changed directions when we walk in. We now turn right and head over to Crush N' Gusher. There is tables w/unbrellas, nice sand, close to food, bathrooms, lazy river, and the pool at Crush N' Gusher to cool off in, there is always plenty of shady places to sit over in this area as well.
