Where to rent a car onsite?

Not sure where to put this. We will be in WDW in August with DS and family. DS wants to rent a car one day to drive to Cape Canaveral. I know that somewhere you can rent a car but for the life of me, I cannot find it in the guidebooks that I have. We will be staying at the All Star Music. How do you get from your resort to where the car is? Can someone help me out???

Avis or National is at either the Swan or the Dolphin

Can also rent at the Car care center which is located not far from the MK

Alamo/National are at the Dolphin. I believe that only Alamo is at the Car Care Center now. You can find other rental companies in the hotels at DTD. Some will provide shuttle service to and from their offices.

You can rent from any of several major car rental agencies right on Disney property. As somebody has already noted, Alamo is at the Swolphin and the Car Care Center. Avis is at the Hilton, Hertz is as Shades of Green, Dollar is at the Grosvenor. Be sure to check them all for the best rate.

Many car companies will pick you up. You might ask for the car to be brought to your resort.

We had very good luck renting from Budget at the Doubletree Suites, DTD, a couple years ago. Very quick shuttle pick up from our resort. (We were at the CBR.) Very good rates, less than $200 including taxes for a mid size SUV for 9 days. And no problems at all with the vehicle. I'd go with them again, no problems.
