where to put film?

Because of the scanning at the airports, is it better to have in your carryon or in your checked luggage?

NEVER put undeveloped film (exposed or unexposed) in checked baggage. Hand carry all film.

Put your film in a large ziplock bag in your carry-on bag ... when you get to the scanner pull it out and ask that it be hand-checked ... that way it's never exposed to any x-rays.

Apparently the "carry-on" scanners "shouldn't" effect your film ... but why take chances. Or switch to a digital camera they aren't affected by the scanners.
