Where to purchase park tickets?

I have just started looking aroung at prices for park tickets. So far AAA seems to have the lowest prices. :confused3 Am I missing any other places that have discounted tickets?

Also, what is the deal with the AAA preferred parking? It says on the website that if we purchase 4 days or more, we get a voucher for this parking. Has anyone ever used it?

One more quick question. How do you decide on your tickets? It seems so worth it to buy a 10 day ticket and get the no expiration option, but then it does add up to a lot..... Is it worth it? I keep going back and forth.

Thanks for any help you can give me!

Pam :yay:

Before I started getting APs with my DVC discount, I always got them thru AAA. The price was the best I found.

If you know without a doubt you will be back .. and you won't lose them .. then go with the biggest ticket you can afford. Bur FYI, you won't be able to sell them or give them to anyone else in case you couldn't go back.

:thumbsup2 if you sign up to receive the mousesavers newsletter, they send you special links to get discounted tickets for the parks. before i signed up to get this, the cheapest i was able to find was thru AAA, however, once i started to get the newsletter, by using the links they provide, they were definitely the cheapest and you get great deals by purchasing thru those sites too!! :thumbsup2

I think the 10-day non-expiring ticket is the best value if you will make several short trips to WDW. If you are going to be at WDW a week, then I would buy 7-day expiring tickets, because after 4 days, each additional day is only a few dollars more per day.

Check www.ticketmania.com and www.undercovertourist.com - both of which have special ticket prices for subscribers of the Mousesavers newsletter: www.mousesavers.com They might still be less expensive than AAA even without the additional discount, and they have many more ticket options than most AAA offices.

I had a AAA parking pass in 1999. At that time, there were certain areas of the parking lots designated for AAA. They might've been a bit closer to the entrance, but not worth buying your tickets from AAA just to get the parking pass, especially if other places sell the tickets for less.

Thank you so much for all your helpful responses. I just signed up for the mousesavers newsletter. I do have another question now: I won't get the next issue until Sept. 15. We are leaving on Sept. 27. Will that be enough time to get the tickets? I did go to TicketMania and found a deal for buy 4 days and get 3 days free. It seems like a good deal, but would there be futher discounts in the mousesavers newsletter? Is it possible for someone who subscribes already to just send me a copy of the August issue?

Sorry for all the question. With 4 children, saving as much as possible is so important.

Pam :thumbsup2

If anyone knows the answer to my second question about mousesaver, I'd love to hear it!

Thank you.
