Where to purchase beer or wine

Where can beer or wine be purchased prior to embankment?, before leaving the Resort or at the Port?.

Our first Disney Cruise, and we know we can bring 2 bottles of wine on ship for me and then my DH can bring 1 6pack of beer - Correct?.
Please let me know.

If you are driving to the port, exit the 528 at Clear Lake, bear right and there is a Publix in the Plaza at the intersection. If you are staying on property before the cruise and taking Disney transportation to the port, there is a Publix (or Goodings?) in the Crossroads plaza at the Apopka Vineland Rd. entrance to Disney Springs (Downtown Disney).

We are flying into Orlando and riding Disney bus to port Canaveral. Is there a place at the airport to buy beer or wine for carry out. Also, is there a store within walking distance of the port Canaveral terminal?

I've never seen anyplace at the airport to buy beer or wine for carryout and there's nothing within walking distance of the port. You could get a cab at MCO to take you to a nearby grocery to buy something and then back to the airport to get the DCL transfers.

Which resort? There's a convenience store within walking distance of the Boardwalk that may sell beer and wine. (It's been a long time since we've been in that store.) Also, are you taking Disney transportation to the port?

There is nothing near the port. The closest place to buy anything is probably the Publix on A1A about 5 miles south of the port. I suppose if you get there early enough, you could cab it.

When we rely on Disney transportation and pack only carry-on luggage, we buy wine from the resort gift shop. The selection is okay. Seems like I saw more choices at Boardwalk than at Pop. We have purchased Kendall Jackson and Ecco Domani at WDW.

There is nowhere to buy a bottle at MCO! I've done the research.

If you are flying and checking bags, you could pack wine really carefully and transfer it to your carry-on before you get on the ship. I use WineSkins and have never had a problem with broken bottles.

I'm having the same issue. We're coming in the day before, but not renting a car. I found a store down there that does local same day delivery (Total Wines), in the Orlando area. I plan on ordering before I fly down the day before and having it delivered to our hotel. Fingers crossed.

Hi, The resorts have a small supply of cereal, snacks, beer wine, over the counter meds and a few other goodies in in the gift shop. I've purchased wine, around $10.00 around a bottle, (I think the brand is Once Upon a Vine, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and sparkling ) in the Contemporary Resort and Port Orleans gift shop. If by chance you are in need of a refill,, there is a wonderful little booze store in Nassau, "Old Nassau Liquor Store." Address: Woodes Rodgers Wharf, Nassau Bahamas, (242) 325-4505 This is maybe two blocks from where the ship docks

If you want beer, the Florida Brewing Company is near the port but it's not right next to the terminal. It would be about a 10-15 min walk each way to get there.
