Where To Park In Albany?

Usually we have someone drive us to the airport. But this time, the usual drivers (my dad and DH) are both going to WDW with us. LOL We have never had to park at Albany before so would like suggestions on the cheapest but secure (It will be my car LOL) onsite or offsite parking for a week. Anyone? Thanks!! Rebecca

Try the remote parking lot at the airport (Lots D & E). The cost is only $25 for 7 days and they have a shuttle bus that runs between the lot and terminal.

We will be using it for our trip starting tomorrow.

dh always parks in the long term parking (d & e) at Albany, the shuttle runs pretty well. If you don't want to park there, just before the airport on Albany Shaker road (coming from 87) has long term parking and in the cold they will even warm up your car for you.

We just parked at the long term parking right at the airport when we were there in July. We didn't want to have to deal with a shuttle bus with a active 5 year old especially since our flight left at 7:05am and returned around 10:30pm. The price was around $60 for a little over a week (Sunday to the following Monday).

We use the park and fly on Wolf Road Extension. (about .5 miles from the airport). There is a shuttle to which takes you (and picks you up from) the airport.

When you arrive home, you call them from a courtesy phone and they pull you car up to a pick up area.... GREAT for the winter.

Can't imagine getting off the plane from Florida then clearing a foot of snow off my frozen car!

I too used the parking garage at ALB when it was DD and I in April.. It was a piece of cake!

We've used the Park & Fly and the D & E lots before, but like the easy access to the parking garage right next to the terminal.

Park & Fly is super easy -- and you can't beat their rate. When we are really in a hurry we park in the garage, but sometimes that isn't an option and I'd definitely rather do Park & Fly than park in the airport economy lot. The nice thing is that they do car washing and detailing, even oil changes! When we go to WDW next month, I plan on having my car upholstery cleaned!
