Where to pack magic bands

I have 5, one from last year's trip, 1 for being AP & 3 for a 3 way resort split.
Can I keep 1 in carry on & pack the other 4 in checked luggage? I ask because the luggage will arrive 3 hours after check in @ resort via MDE & I'm not sure if I need to verify that they're all working @ the front desk or if one works the others will as well.
Thx - flight is in 24 hours & I'm having a packing delima

You just need 1 working band. The others are nothing more than spares. Leave them home or pack in your bags, whichever suits you best.

That's a thought - 3 on one wrist & 2 on the other. I'm flying out of San Fransisco, which is full of colorful characters so I'd blend in
