So, I like to look up people's YouTube videos of their trips to WDW with my son in anticipation of my first trip in 14 years and his first ever trip coming up in September. In some videos I see a character meet with a Mickey Mouse that talks, moves his mouth and blinks. Where in The World is this meet at?!?!? I can't wait for my son to meet Mickey and all the characters we can, but this would seem extra magical for us all!!!! Thanks DISers!!!!

Town Square Theater in Magic Kingdom. He's at the front of the park and you probably won't need a Fp+ to meet him.

Thanks!! I would think the line for this would be pretty long. Maybe not. We will have to decide if that's something we want to do first thing in the park since it's right up front or get to some popular attractions ASAP. Since it will be three kids first times at Disney, we will probably soak in Main Street, the castle and the magic of being there. So, we probably will start the day there with a Mickey meet!!!!

There is Fast Pass + available for the Town Square Meet Mickey meet and greet.

First thing in the morning, his line isn't too long. We met him on Presidents' Day with less than a 5 minute wait.

Just be aware that there's no guarantee you'll get the talking Mickey at Town Square Theater. He sometimes "rests his voice."

Saturday morning at rope drop we went there first and had to wait about 10 minutes, but he was mute that morning.

We've seen him multiple times and his wait time can really vary, I've seen it as high as 155 minutes (the week between Christmas and New Years.) Typically during the afternoon it's around 40 minutes. During the parade is a good time to catch him.

No, not until you get in the room with Mickey. We've had it happen a few times (even when we 'wasted' a FastPass on it.)
Darn. We got him last year and DS would be disappointed if he didn't talk this year! Maybe have to stalk the exit first and ask people coming out before we get in line!

You could try that, however, there are a few different Mickey rooms, so he may be mute in one and not the others. :confused3

Shoot. I thought that would work. Last year in November there was only one line and clearly only one room being used. Well, it sure seemed that way at least. That was before Tinker Bell moved there though. Guess we'll just have to risk it.

Tinker Bell doesn't move until May 20th. :) And she will take over the spot the princesses used to occupy in the back of the theater.

Mickey will remain in his current spot when she moves in, too. And there is always just one line in standby for Mickey (and then the FP+ line) and they both feed to the same one holding room. After than they take groups into the different Mickey rooms. There is a long hall and there are a few rooms each with a Mickey doing meet and greets. During busier times, I assume more of the rooms are utilized, but I assume at least 2 rooms are always going (same at each side of PFTH has 2 rooms.) ;)
