Stitch is our daughter's favorite... Where can we catch him outside of Ohana? We'll be at the world the week after labor day.

We met him in HS but that was outside the hat when it was there.. Not sure if he still roams around HS now? But possibly.

We've met him in Tommorowland near the Carousel of Progress. Check the times guide for times he will be there.

My DD is a Stitch addict. He can be found in tomorrowland at MK. Ask about the location. The last time we were there we found stitch while we were on the peoplemover riding over tomorrowland. We had been looking for him prior to that. He was in a different location than our last visit. And he was - we felt - hidden. So ask about his meet and greet location.
Please research the "Stitch" ride. My DD hated the ride. We all did. It's not in the spirit of Stitch.
Have fun.

Definitely ask to double check but he was a necessity for us too and we waited for him, the CM's said when facing the stage to the right near the shrubs on the left when looking at COP. We were not exactly sure so we sat on the edge of a floral bed staring towards COP. We finally spotted him walking down the path on the left side of COP which comes out just to the right of the stage and he walked in front of the metal benches stopping right in front of a big tree. The times guide said after 10:15 and looking at my pics we were with him at 10:50.

Meeting Stitch is very, very, very tricky business. Your best bet is to just hang around in Tomorrowland around his first set and catch him as soon as you see him. From my understanding, the way "roaming characters" work is that they'll greet two or three guests who walk up to them, but as soon as a line starts to form, they walk away to a new location. So if there's already a group of people around him when you see him, hang back and wait for him to finish up because he'll leave and walk to a new location if too many people are approaching him. Last week I saw six or seven people with him in front of the Peoplemover. I turned around to get my autograph book out of my bag, and when I had turned around, Stitch was walking away and the crowd had dispersed.

Now, I'm not an inside expert on elusive roaming characters. If what I'm saying is wrong, I apologize. If there's someone out there with a better understanding on how roaming works, please correct me!

I remember seeing Stitch in Animal Kingdom by chance about four or five years ago. Looking at the answers on this thread, I guess Disney decided that aliens don't belong in Animal Kingdom.

So you're saying Avatarland is cancelled?? :)

Thanks for the info guys, I wasn't sure how and where to meet with the "roaming" characters. Hopefully we can find a way to catch him, but the kid is not yet 2 so she won't know any better if we miss him.

Like many others we ran across Stitch near Carousel of Progress but that was some years ago. We got an awesome pitcher with both our boys.

For a Stitch lover, if you are planning to do the Stitch attraction, please make sure to read up on it. If your daughter really wants to try it, you probably are best doing so. But, to help manage expectations - know it really isn't much more than sitting in the dark with noise and an occasional jerk of your shoulder / seat harness - and it seems like it will never end. In my opinion, it is the worst ride and a waste of time. AND, the dark can be very scary for kids. The two times (in my defense the 2nd time was nearly 10 years later and we thought - well, lets see if it is really as bad as we remember - and yup - it was!) we did this attraction there were kids crying through the whole thing.

Stitch and Lilo used to appear together in the AK. Not sure if they still do or not. I loved that they always had some unique characters in AK. Russell and Dug. The Bugs, King Louie. I love seeing different characters. After several trips, my family and I are kind of done getting excited about seeing Mickey Mouse in a different outfit at this point.

Have you tried Kenny The Pirate?! He has probably the most reliable info on where to meet characters in the parks. Just give him quick google.
