where to keep passport while in park/Florida?

Just wondering where people keep their passports while at Disney. Do you carry them on all the rides, or leave them in hotel room?

I keep it in the Hotel safe. I have my DL on me but those I lock up.

we do this as well for our cc and drivers licence. and I leave a copy at home that I have photocopied. Be a real pain if ever lost, but having copies makes it easier.
And yes we use the hotel safe. I know its not as secure as you would like, but then you can always hide in with the dirty underwear.

Hotel safe! I wouldn't carry it at the parks. A few years ago on our last night, we were planning on leaving MK park early evening to go back to resort and finish packing. It was the last ride, our farewell to Space Mtn, and some how my (adult) daughters purse flew out of the ride. I guess it must have just bounced out. She was in the front car. She had her wallet, phone, glasses, but NOT her passport thankfully in the purse. They said they wouldn't be able to retrieve it till park closed and ride was shut down. And would be too late to get it to us, nobody to transport it.
We received it in the mail a couple of weeks later.

I don't know what would have happened if her passport was in the purse. Guess they would have had to shut down the ride

Stuff we don't anticipate happens, and the room safe is the safest place to leave it.
