Does anyone have suggestions for Christmas Eve and Christmas dinner? Do we need to focus on the parks or a resort? What is traffic like in the area? Any suggestions would be great for our first Christmas trip.
Thanks!

We were at WDW last Christmas and did the Keys to the Kingdom tour on Christmas Eve morning and then had dinner at 'O'hana's at the Poly. It was a wonderful day. We timed out ADR at 'O'hana so we could watch the Wishes fireworks (they pipe in the audio to the restaurant) at MK. Truly magical! :mickeyjum

Have a great trip - we're going back again this year but will leave before Christmas.

Enjoy! pixiedust:

Last year we arrived xmas day and had a wonderful dinner at Artist Point in WL. We did not go to a park that day, but hit DTD and then WL for dinner. This year we arrive 12/24 and have reservations at Teppanyaki at 8pm and to see Illuminations(might change to CP package next week). Christmas day we are again avoiding a park and having late breakfast at 1900PF- GF is so beautiful at chrismas and the food is exccellent for breakfast and then dinner at CG and view Wishes from the viewing area (dinner 9:30pm Wishes 9pm-checking in ealry and going to viewing area). MK is open late that night and we might head over for the last parade before heading home to OKW.
