Where to Hang Dress in Room

My dress hung off the armoir once we arrived.

I heard that same story about the girl who hung her dress off the sprinkler. Both of the EM's I had while planning told me as well as Rev Tim and Randy Chapman. One of the first things they would say is whatever you do don't hang your dress off the sprinkler!

That's a great story about the sprinkler, and consider myself warned. I'm just going to see what I can find when I'm there, but I did purchase some of those hooks that are removable, and will probably try them. I just hope the hook is strong enough to hold the dress. I got the biggest hook they had...we will see! Thanks everyone!

Do you think it would be possible that the hotel reception might look after it until the wedding? I think I will ask on arrival. It might just be possible.

I had thought of this, but my main concern is getting the dress out of the bag, so that major wrinkles don't set in. I'm hoping to avoid steaming it again. I also don't know if I trust them enough to keep it hanging without anything squashing it or anything. I'd rather have it in my possession so that if somehting bad happens, I only have myself to blame. Also, my thinking is that if I didn't care about it staying in the bag, then I would just hang it in the closet in the bag rather than give it to bell services. That's just me being obsessive about my dress though, and if giving it to bell services would help you out, then definitely ask! They will keep luggage and such, so I'm thinking they wouldn't have a problem keeping your dress if you needed them to.
