so me and my bf, hm , are gonna be out in wdw 9/16/ - 9/26 and i was wondering where all the gay friendly places are during that time. he is extra shy and he is hesitant about pda unless there are other gay ppl too.

Have you been to Disney before, and are you staying at Disney? Will you have a car?

Ok lets start, Disney employs literally thousands of gay Cast Members. You will not have a hard time meeting someone to spark up a conversation with. PDA's in the park, IMO are usually kept to a minimum. You can always get a quick peck on the cheek on the dark rides and such, but just remember, as friendly as the Cast Members are, some of the guests can be kind of rude if your making out in public.

The gay spot on Disney property is Pleasure Island. It's gay friendly every night, but Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays tend to be more of a gay crowd, especially Thursdays when said Cast Members get paid and get into the clubs for free. It tends to get busier later at night, so don't bust your butt getting there at 9:00.

If you have a car, the largest and busiest gay bar/complex is the Parliament House, just google it. Its a hotel with multiple bars, a pool, theater and restaurant. Pretty busy most nights, crazy on Friday and Saturday nights, and early on Sunday night for T-dance.

Lastly, there are many locals on this board, so feel free to ask questions.

Never been to Disney? GASP! :scared1:

LOL Walk no run to your local book store and get a book called "Queens of the Kingdom".

Its the official gay guide to the Kingdom!

PS Welcome to the gay dis boards!

Mike gives good @@@d OH I mean advice. Also September is always a good time for gays to go , nothing official but I find with the kids back in school alot of us gays head down there then. At least it has been my experience to see loads of gays walking around WDW during this month.

thank you folks for all your help. we go to disneyland and california adventure all the time but we live on the west coast and always wanted to go to wdw. so now me and my baby get to go and for his 21st bday too!!

WDW is a blast. There's a ton of stuff to do on property. PI is very gay friendly (especially Thursdays), and there are several gay clubs not too far away if you want to drive and see something different.

There's a few of us who are local, so if you have any questions at all just ask :thumbsup2
