Hi guys, we are getting married at wdw swan, we are having an intimate with about 15 guests and need help with where to have our meal after the ceremony, we dont want anything too posh as there will be kids there and we just want to have a chilled out meal and drinks after. any suggestions??? many thanks :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

we went to chef mickeys, it was great fun and the kids will love it. other fun suggestions that other people have tried is ohanas and 1900 park fair

We are going to 1900 park fare.. :sunny: We will be be a party of 9 including4 kids...so I thought this would be perfect. :wizard:
We are getting married at Bahama bay at 12...and I have booked the restaurant for 4.30pm the first seating....afterwards we will go into the MK and stay for wishes.. :cloud9:

I also considered Ohana...but Iam doing this earlier in the week.
If you want to wear your dress choose a resort restaurant...not a park one.
If you want characters then chef mickeys or park fare. :cheer2:

many thanks for the suggestions, so can i wear my dress if we go to ohanas / park fare / chef mickeys?

You can wear your dress to any dinner, NOT in the parks. So any of those resort resturants would be fine.

I don't know what your budget is, but there are private rooms at some of the restaurants that you may book. Minimum food and beverage fees apply, but depending upon your party's size, those minimum fees may be easy to reach. I'm fairly certain the Swan/Dolphin has a restaurant with a private dining room. I believe I saw sample menus on their official website a few weeks ago.

We have a 1pm intimate wedding at the poly next week and will be going to the Luau that evening at 5pm for dinner.

We are having an intimate in a couple of months and have booked 1900 Park Fare for a group of 18 - purely for the fact that there are 8 children. Both my fiancé and me are planning a romantic meal on our own in Citricos another night.

Thanks for the ideas, we have whittled it down to ohanas or 1900 park fare x

Hi Pezzapixiedust, I am also having an Intimate at the Swan. My fiance and I are doing dinner after the ceremony at Artist Point. Its a beautiful restaurant and everyone we've worked with has been so wonderful. Hope this helps.

Were having an intimate wedding in Nov at sunset pointe and were having dinner at ohana's afterwards. I am going to be wearing my wedding dress and everyone else is also going in their wedding attire.=0)

hi jess, quick question are you wearing your dress to dinner? :cheer2:

The woman at the Artist Point said we could, but for my own comfort, I'm not. The rest of my wedding party is though. I'm changing into another dress that isn't as poofy, but still very formal so I can continue my princess role princess:
