Cinderella's Breakfast
Princess Storybook Breakfast
Crystal Palace Lunch
Chef Mickeys
Cinderella's Gala Feast

At each of these locations, I had the CM note the reservation that we were celebrating DD's 1st B'day. Each one did something special for her (cards, confetti, crown, certificate). Of all the above, the ones that she enjoyed the most were Cinderella's Breakfast and Chef Mickey's dinner. Doesn't hurt that DD loves Mickey, and the Princesses actually carried her around and gave her "lipstick kisses". These are great photo ops that she will love to look at for the rest of her life (or at least fun to show her first boyfriend) !

We took our DD for her first birthday last week. We celebrated at at few places but the best was dinner at 1900 Park Fair. They gave her a happy birthday crown, cupcake with candle and Prince Charming sang Happy Birthday to her. She loved it! Also on her birthday we took her to the barber shop at the Magic Kingdom to have her first hair cut. Michael did a great job. She got mickey ears that said First Haircut on the back. While we were waiting the Dapper Dans came in to do their performance and they sang Happy Birthday to her. Michael wrapped up her hair clippings with some pixie dust for me to take home. It was a great value for $14
Have fun!

We were in Disney when my now 6yr old daughter was turning one. There were 23 of us there. I made PS at Chef Mickey's and ordered a cake for her. The characters were great, food good, quite a celebration. I also brought a big Mickey and the Gang card that I had all the characters sign to put in her baby book.

Garden Grill is a great character dinner too, and not as hectic as some of the others, because it is not as popular. If you don't get into the other places take a look here. A big bonus for her age is they bring food to your table, so no trading off to go to a buffet station for food. DH and I enjoyed the meal and so did our girls (2 & 4).

I just wanted to let you know that for my dd's first bday she was terrified of the characters. I would try to do something with face characters. You just never know. When we were at WDW when she was 6 mths old it was not a problem. We have celebrated all of her bday's a WDW and at the age of three she still doesn't like Suzy and Perla.;)

thanks everyone for all the info............we are very excited and now, i cant wait. i wish that we could get her first haircut on main street..but, she is BALD!:D

When we were at WDW in Jan my DD(2 weeks shy of 1) wouldn't look at the face characters at CRT but she wanted to eat Tigger at CP. We celebrated my DS's 3rd birthday there and it was wonderful! I had brought Pooh party hats with me. If you choose CRT or CM you could bring Cindy or Mickey party hats. Don't forget to get the birthday button at City Hall.

At home she was also painfully shy-wouldn't even let my MIL who we usually see everyweek hold her. Just this past week she let my SIL hold her and we haven't been there in 6 weeks so she's getting much better-she has been since she started walking. It will be interesting to see how she reacts on this trip to the characters.
