I always have a big bag in my carry on and have never once been questioned about it.

I would be glad to collect the pennies for you and just mail them to you - when is your trip planned for.

That is very nice of you to offer! Change is quite heavy though, and I shudder to think of what the cost might be through Canada Post. I don't want to put you out like that.

I notice you live in Peterborough. I did too until 5 years ago! Wish we still did, but my husband works in Pickering. We were out by Lansdowne & Ashburnham, walking distance to Beavermeade Park and the liftlocks!

We now live in Bowmanville. My parents moved here (Courtice) shortly after us (wish they stayed as I really wanted to move back to Ptbo...), but my grandparents still live there.

Between visiting my grandparents and day-trips back to Beavermeade, the mini golf course behind Pizza Hut and the Ptbo Zoo, we are in Peterborough usually twice a month as the weather gets warmer. LOL - We still have our family doctor, pediatrician, and optomitrist there as well!

If you really don't mind saving some pennies/quarters for me, perhaps we could meet at a Tim Horton's or something one day?

There is a location at the Oshawa Town Centre. I use the Pickering Town Centre one. Good Luck
